El arquitecto Kiyanshid Hedjri presenta diseños del prototipo para el proyecto Nodos-Turismo
AIDIMME, y el Instituto de Tecnología Cerámica, ITC-AICE, celebraron ayer un workshop del proyecto de I+D NODOS-TURISMO. En él se presentaron los avances de la iniciativa y se intercambiaron opiniones acerca del papel que los objetos inteligentes tendrán para cubrir las necesidades del “turismo inteligente” en ciudades, que va en aumento. También se debatió qué necesidades prioritarias deben satisfacer esos objetos y cómo integrarlos en los distintos entornos (centros históricos, zonas de playa, etc.).
En el workshop se ha presentado el proyecto, su financiación y sus objetivos. Después se han explicado los resultados de los análisis de tendencias tecnológicas y sociales del turismo en Ciudades Inteligentes. Éstas se han clasificado en 4 grandes categorías generales: movilidad, conectividad, habitabilidad y sostenibilidad. Como se ha explicado, el futuro del sector turístico pasa por el turismo inteligente, en el cual se aprovechan las posibilidades que ofrecen las nuevas tecnologías para ofrecer un servicio más a la medida de cada cliente.
Basándose en esas tendencias, se prepararon cuatro diseños de objetos urbanos, para los cuales se contó con el asesoramiento del arquitecto Kiyanshid Hedjri, especialista en arquitectura orgánica y parametrización geométrica de estructuras. Los diseños integran materiales de madera y cerámica, así como las tecnologías necesarias para el turismo inteligente. Por ejemplo, conectividad inalámbrica, información en tiempo real sobre rutas y actividades turísticas, energía fotovoltaica, realidad aumentada, pantallas táctiles, balizas electrónicas (i-beacons), etc.
Algunos ejemplos de objetos urbanos son el mobiliario público, las estructuras decorativas, las barreras y bolardos, los paneles informativos, fuentes, paradas de transporte público, aparcamientos de bicicletas, señales, alumbrado, pérgolas, puntos de información, lavabos públicos, pequeños pabellones, kioscos y exoesqueletos de edificios, entre otros.
El proyecto NODOS-TURISMO (Nuevos objetos para ciudades conectadas y sostenibles: Investigación y desarrollo de un prototipo de objeto urbano inteligente orientado al turismo) es una oportunidad para las empresas de las industrias implicadas en el mercado emergente de alto valor añadido que suponen las ciudades inteligentes, y una gran posibilidad de atraer turismo inteligente a la Comunitat Valenciana, un perfil de turismo cada vez más palpable social y económicamente, aseveran los promotores del proyecto.
Financiado por el Instituto Valenciano de Competitividad Empresarial (IVACE) y cofinanciado al 50% por el Programa Operativo FEDER de la Comunitat Valenciana 2014-2020, el proyecto tiene como objetivo principal investigar y desarrollar un prototipo de objeto urbano orientado al turismo, integrable en plataformas TIC propias de Ciudades Inteligentes o Smart Cities, en el cual se utilicen fundamentalmente materiales inteligentes derivados de la madera y la cerámica.
Los impulsores del proyecto consideran que el turismo inteligente es un mercado incipiente que aumentará mucho en los próximos años y que se relaciona con las ciudades inteligentes.
Se define un destino turístico inteligente como aquel que:
- cuenta con una infraestructura tecnológica, basada en TICS;
- permite el desarrollo sostenible del territorio turístico;
- hace posible la accesibilidad para todos;
- facilita la interacción e integración del visitante en el entorno, al tiempo que mejora su experiencia y disfrute.
De este modo –indican-, consciente de la importancia que las Ciudades Inteligentes tendrán para la industria española, el Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo aprobó en marzo del pasado año, dentro del marco de la Agenda Digital para España (ADpE), el Plan Nacional de Ciudades Inteligentes, dotado de una inversión de 188 millones de €uros.
En este sentido, los promotores de NODOS-TURISMO afirman que, por su condición de destino turístico mundial, España puede beneficiarse de ese nuevo mercado turístico en crecimiento, que constituye una clara oportunidad de desarrollo e inversión.
