The Technology Centre attends this international meeting in a joint space of the Technology Institutes Network of the Valencian Community (REDIT, its acronym in Spanish), and other technological centres in Spain under the wing of FEDIT.
Transfiere: R&D transfer
This year, Transfiere is counting on the participation of a dozen autonomous communities that have the opportunity of sharing their territorial innovation policies and promoting their convergence with the international R&D&I ecosystem by means of the presence of professionals from 39 countries.
With an extensive program, Transfiere enjoys more than 420 national and international expert speakers that will present unpublished content for the innovation and technology sector around more than 80 thematic panels. The forum celebrates its twelfth edition, establishing itself as the most relevant R&D&I meeting in southern Europe. It is a three-day event for sharing scientific and technological knowledge, promoting innovation and connecting science and business thanks to the participation of more than 500 entities from the sector, according to the event organisers.
Transfiere 2023 is structured in five main spaces: Science Room, Innovation Room, Research Centre, Agora and Andalucía Knowledge, to address current issues such as the development of green hydrogen as a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels or the role of technology platforms in the energy sector.
Spanish technology platforms: the case of PTFOR
The Spanish Forest Technology Platform (PTFOR), is a cooperation network for the development of R&D&I that aims to help the Spanish forestry sector and the industries that make up its value chains to improve their competitiveness and economic, social and environmental sustainability, promoting research, technological development, innovation, information, training and internationalisation.
PTFOR has participated in a meeting of technology platforms to share and guide common strategies for the development and positioning as entities that promote innovation in the sectors involved.
A meeting within the framework of Transfiere organised by the City Council of Málaga, the Andalusian Knowledge Agency, and the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
